The Bible is the inspired holy word of God. The Bible is the written word which points to the living Word, Jesus Christ.

The trinity is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. They are three unique persons with the exact same essence which is manifested in perfection.

Man was originally created in perfection but fell in the garden of Eden. All mankind was pro-created in the image of fallen Adam. By His substitutionary death on the cross, Jesus Christ solved the problem of the depravity of man.

Jesus Christ, God the Son is the visible manifestation of the trinity. He was miraculously conceived of the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life and of His own volition died for the sins of mankind on the cross. He was resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven and is presently the High Priest of the church, His body on earth. He is the mediator between holy God and man. He will rapture His body, the church and then return seven years later with that body who will have become His bride.

God the Holy Spirit, the third member of the trinity is the present point of contact with the trinity. He is separate from the Father and the Son but possesses the same attributes and essence. He is neither seen, felt, nor heard but His power and influence are what holds evil at bay. He indwells the believer and is the only source of power in the believer that can overcome the world, the flesh, the devil.

The means of salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. There is no other way to the presence of the God of Heaven. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, the life. By grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone is a person saved.

The person who has placed faith alone in Christ alone can never lose that salvation. Jesus Christ did all the work and met the necessary requirements of holy God to bring about salvation. Once saved always saved.

The church is the body of Christ on the earth. The church is unique. It is made up of human beings who have placed faith in Christ. It began on Pentecost 30 AD and will be completed at the rapture. It’s mission is to evangelize the lost and edify the body.

Satan is real and alive. He fell in eternity past and is the arch enemy of the plan of God. His doom is assured. But he is presently and temporarily ruling planet earth. His modus operandi is the promotion of false doctrine.

Human history is divided into different periods of time known as dispensations. Each dispensation is designed by God the Father to help resolve the angelic conflict (good vs. evil). We currently live in the age or dispensation of the grace of God; also known as the church age.

The blessed hope is the promised rapture of the church. The church is the body of Christ made up of every person who has placed faith alone in Christ alone between Pentecost 30 AD and that time when the rapture will occur. Only God knows the date and time of this event.

The tribulation is the seven-year period of time in which the wrath of God is visited on the earth. The church will not be present but will be with the Lord in heaven. The tribulation will begin sometime after the rapture of the church and will conclude with the physical return of Christ to the earth.

The second coming of Christ is different from the rapture. The rapture takes place in the clouds and is for the body of Christ. The second coming is the physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth. He will physically arrive in bodily form on the mount of olives.

All of mankind will one day be resurrected. Those who believe in Christ to everlasting peace in the presence of God. Those who reject Christ to everlasting torment in the lake of fire.

The Lord Jesus Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper to be observed until His return.

The believer in the church age is to become like Christ in His humanity and to evangelize the lost as the Holy Spirit leads. Becoming like Christ in His humanity is only possible by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. A person must choose to submit to His will.
